FAQs About Participating in Leadership Hudson

Q: What does joining a Leadership Hudson Class involve?

A: Participation in the Leadership Hudson program entails attending monthly class sessions and developing a service project to benefit the Hudson community. The service project will be selected and executed jointly by class members, and additional meetings may be required for related planning activities.

Q: When does the Class of 2027 meet?

A: Class sessions will start in September 2026 and run through May 2027. More specific dates can be found on the application.

Q: Do I have to attend every class session?

A: While participation in all class sessions is expected, we do allow one excused absence with one exception: Attendance at the two-day opening session on September 18 and 19, 2026 is mandatory to facilitate team building.

Q: How much does the Leadership Hudson program cost?

A: Cost for the program is $850. Tuition covers all materials, lunches, refreshments, and the graduation dinner. A $200 deposit is due on or before the first day of class. Leadership Hudson is a non-profit organization, and we seek to make the program as affordable as possible for our community members. For those who are self-paid, partial tuition remission is available upon request and approval by the Leadership Hudson Board of Directors. More information is available in the application.

Q: When are applications for the Leadership Hudson class of 2027 due?

A: Applications may be submitted by email as detailed on the application form, downloadable below. Applications are due by July 17, 2026 for review by the Leadership Hudson board, and applicants will be contacted with a decision by early August.
