FAQs About Participating in Leadership Hudson

Q: What does joining a Leadership Hudson Class involve?

A:Participation in the 9-month Leadership Hudson program includes attending monthly class sessions focused on developing leadership skills and gaining a deeper understanding of the many organizations, institutions, and systems that shape the Hudson community. Participants also collaborate on a community service project designed to benefit Hudson. The project is selected, planned, and implemented by class members, and additional meetings may be required to support project development and execution.

Q: When does the Class of 2027 meet?

A: Class sessions will start in September 2026 and run through May 2027. More specific dates can be found at the top of the application.

Q: Do I have to attend every class session?

A: While participation in all class sessions is expected, we do allow one excused absence. However, attendance is required without exception at the two-day opening session on September 11 and 12, 2026 in order to facilitate team building.

Q: How much does the Leadership Hudson program cost?

A: Cost for the program is $850. Tuition covers all materials, lunches, refreshments, and the graduation dinner. A $200 deposit is due on or before the first day of class. Leadership Hudson is a non-profit organization, and we seek to make the program as affordable as possible for our community members. For those who are self-paid, partial tuition remission is available upon request and approval by the Leadership Hudson Board of Directors. More information is available in the application.

Q: When are applications for the Leadership Hudson class of 2027 due?

A: Applications were due by July 31, 2026 for review by the Leadership Hudson board. Decisions have been sent to applicants.
